Blog Virgin

As the title says, I am a blog virgin. That means, of course, that this is my first time venturing into the part of the web known as blogging. We'll see where this goes, which is sure to be all over the place. I can be quit random at times and easily get on multiple tangents.

I think I'll start out this blog with an explanation of the origin of my blog title and URL. As any Gravitation fan will (or at least, should) know, Shining Collection is the name of a song from this anime tv series. It's a series I love and the name also calls to me. Shiny things tend to do that. ^^;; I had actually wanted pikapika.blogspot.com to be my URL, but it was taken. *sigh* So, I chose pikapikahikaru.blogspot.com instead. They don't differ too much. Pikapika means 'glitter' or 'sparkle', while pikapikahikaru means 'to glitter' or 'to sparkle.' I like both. ^^ And, if you think they aren't /that/ related, they are. *sagenod* Ryuichi, the singer for Nittle Grasper, the group that sings Shining Collection, says 'pikapika'. I <3 Ryuichi. But, anyways, yeah, that's the origin of both. Instead of pikapikahikaru, I was originally going to put ohshiny. ^^ That's because I do say that at times. ^^;
